Dr. Brian Bulmer

Associate Principal at Perry Township Schools

Dr. Brian Bulmer has a diverse work experience in the education field. Dr. Brian started their career as an Athletic Trainer at Methodist Sports Medicine in 2002. Dr. Brian then joined Decatur Central High School in 2006 as a Teacher and Athletic Trainer, where they taught Health Sciences and covered after-school athletic training duties. In 2015, they worked as a Human Body Systems Master Teacher at Project Lead The Way. From 2016 to 2017, they served as a Lead Teacher and Athletic Supervisor at Decatur Central High School. Dr. Brian then moved on to Mooresville Schools in 2017, where they worked as an Assistant Principal at Paul Hadley Middle School. In 2018, they joined MSD of Decatur Township as the Director of the Innovation Hub and WBL before becoming the School Principal at Decatur Township School for Excellence in 2020. Currently, they are working as an Associate Principal at Perry Township Schools.

Dr. Brian Bulmer earned a Doctor of Education - EdD degree in Educational Leadership from Oakland City University between 2019 and 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Master's Degree in Education Administration from Oakland City University in 2016-2017. In 2007-2008, they pursued a Transition to Teaching program at Indiana Wesleyan University with a focus on Health and Physical Education/Fitness. Dr. Bulmer obtained their undergraduate degree, a Bachelor's in Kinesiology with a specialization in Athletic Training/Trainer, from Indiana University Bloomington from 1997 to 2002.
