Joe Sarnes has extensive experience in education, currently serving as the Director of Elementary Teaching and Learning at Perrysburg Schools since June 1991. In this role, Joe has led curriculum development and alignment to academic standards, enhancing teaching quality and student outcomes. Prior positions include Assistant Director of Teaching and Learning, focusing on professional development and curriculum improvements, and Technology Integration Specialist, where Joe played a key role in launching a 1:1 technology program. Joe has also contributed to higher education as an Adjunct Faculty member at Lourdes University and an Adjunct Professor at Ashland University, creating courses centered on technology integration in K-12 education. Joe holds both a Master's Degree and Bachelor's Degree in Educational Leadership and Elementary Education from Bowling Green State University.
