John Buck has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. John is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Persante Health Care. Prior to that, they were an Adjunct Professor of Theology at Villanova University. John also worked as a Managing Member at Clearstream LLC, where they assisted growth and later-stage companies with M&A, capital structure, market analysis, profitability improvement, commercial operations, and investment programs. John served as a Board Member at Paramount Building Solutions and as a Financial Consultant at Traverse LLC. Additionally, they were the VP of Corporate Development at Celéri Health and the Corporate Development/M&A Lead at Target RWE Health Evidence Solutions. John also held the position of Vice President, Capital Sponsors at 83bar, the Patient Activation company. Previously, they worked as the Chief of Staff to the CEO at Dodge Data & Analytics. Their earliest role was as the Managing Principal, Middle-Market Special Situations at DW Partners, LP, where they made debt and equity investments in middle market companies.
John Buck attended Archbishop Ryan High School from 1979 to 1983. John then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania, earning their degree from 1983 to 1987. In 1994, they enrolled at the Fox School of Business at Temple University for their Master of Business Administration (MBA), specializing in Strategy & Finance, which they completed in 1997. Later, in 2019, Buck pursued further education at Villanova University, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) in Theology from 2019 to 2021.
