Borja Galarza Legazpi

Borja Galarza Legazpi has extensive work experience in the cybersecurity and virtualization sectors. Borja currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Perseus Cybersecurity Services since October 2018. Prior to this, Borja worked at ITS SECURITY, where they served as the CERT Services Manager from July 2016 to June 2018. Borja also held the role of Senior Security Consultant from December 2015 to June 2016 at the same company.

Earlier in their career, Borja worked at IBM as a Virtualization Consultant from October 2014 to December 2015. Borja gained additional experience in virtualization consulting roles at ide. from January 2012 to September 2014, and at SERBAN - Soluciones y Servicios Bancarios from September 2011 to December 2011.

Borja's career began at Nextel S.A. as a Network Security Engineer, where they worked from November 2006 to August 2011. Throughout their various roles, Borja has accumulated valuable expertise and knowledge in cybersecurity, virtualization, and network security.

Borja Galarza Legazpi completed their Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Systems from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, spanning from 2002 to 2007. Afterward, they pursued an MBA Executive - GECEM degree in Master's Degree in Business Management for Competitiveness from the same university, which was obtained in 2012. In addition to their academic qualifications, Borja Galarza Legazpi obtained certifications such as PCNSE7 from PaloAlto Networks in May 2016 and VCP 510 from VMware in February 2012.
