Jorge Alonso Zárate

Jorge Alonso Zárate has extensive work experience in the field of network engineering. Jorge started their career as an analyst and programmer at Gestionet Multimedia S.L. in 2007. From 2008 to 2019, they worked at Ambar Telecomunicaciones S.L. as a Senior Network Engineer. In 2019, they joined IZERTIS in the same role, where they worked until 2020. Following that, they worked at Grupo Versia as a Senior Network Engineer from 2020 to 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Network Security Engineer at Perseus Cybersecurity Services, starting in 2021.

Jorge Alonso Zárate pursued their education at the University of Deusto from 2002 to 2008, completing a degree in Ingeniería Superior de Telecomunicaciones with a field of study in Telecomunicaciones. In addition to their formal education, Jorge also obtained several certifications in the field of networking and security. These certifications include Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP), Aruba Certified ClearPass Associate (ACCA), Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA), Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer, Palo Alto Networks Systems Engineer (PSE)- Foundation, ACFE Clearpass Policy Manager, ACSE Omniaccess Stellar WLAN, and NSE 4 Security Professional. The certifications were obtained between 2016 and 2022 from institutions such as Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Palo Alto Networks, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, and Fortinet.
