Roei Shaut

Roei Shaut has extensive experience in the field of data engineering and business intelligence. Roei has been the Head of Data Engineering & BI at Personetics since 2021, where they built the BI/Data Engineering department from scratch, designed and modeled the data warehouse (redshift), and developed all ETL processes using Python. Prior to this, Roei held the same role at Quali from 2019 to 2021, where they also established the data department, built the data warehouse, and developed ETL processes.

From 2015 to 2019, Roei worked at Coolvision, initially as the Head of Data Engineering & BI, and later as a Data Scientist/BI Developer/Data Engineer. During this time, they were responsible for data analysis, utilizing tools such as SQL, Python, and Tableau, as well as creating and managing the company's BI platform. Roei also developed ETL processes using Python and worked with PySpark and PySparkSQL for data processing.

Prior to Coolvision, Roei worked at EY as a Data Engineer from 2013 to 2015. Their responsibilities included data analysis, utilizing SQL, Python, and Tableau, and developing dashboards.

Roei Shaut has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree, with a specialization in Information Systems, from Ruppin Academic Center. This degree was focused on the fields of Accounting and Economics. Roei also holds a CPA license. Additionally, Roei has studied Computer Science and Economics at The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo. Furthermore, Roei has completed Data Science and Programming courses through Coursera.
