Ashleigh MacHado

Ashleigh Machado is a Clinical Site Start Up Specialist at Perspective Therapeutics since April 2024, bringing valuable experience from a prior role as an Associate Clinical Research Coordinator at Rush University Medical Center in the Department of Rheumatology, where Ashleigh focused on Institutional Review Board submissions and regulatory compliance. Previous positions include a Nursing Assistant in Interventional Radiology at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, and a Research Assistant in the Department of Internal Medicine, where Ashleigh investigated insulin trafficking proteins and was awarded the Iowa Center for Research by Undergraduates Fellowship. Ashleigh also served as a certified tutor for TRiO Support Student Services, assisting students in Biochemistry and Chemistry. Ashleigh holds a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Iowa, obtained in 2022.
