Lawanda Jackson has over 18 years of experience in the field of regulatory affairs and quality assurance. Lawanda is currently serving as the VP of Quality Assurance at Perspective Therapeutics since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs at Isoray from October 2021 to July 2022. Lawanda also held the position of Principal Consultant - QMS & Compliance at Fortuneline Business Consulting LLC from April 2021 to September 2021. Lawanda has extensive experience in developing and implementing quality management systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and conducting internal audits. Lawanda has worked with companies like Origin Biologics, Spinal Elements, and Theragenics Corporation, where they held leadership roles in regulatory affairs and quality assurance. Their expertise includes overseeing QMS, risk management, supplier management, document control, and training programs. Lawanda Jackson obtained a degree in Quality Management Systems from The National Graduate School of Quality Management in 2012-2013. Prior to that, they studied Computer Science at Portland State University from 1992-1995. Lawanda also holds several certifications including Certified Tissue Bank Specialist from the American Association of Tissue Banks in 2020 and ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor with Medical Device Focus (ISO 13485) from ASQ. Lawanda has also completed various LinkedIn courses on topics such as Change Management, Leading with a Growth Mindset, Emotional Intelligence, and Data Visualization.
