Perspectives Charter Schools
Leanna Lantz began their work experience in 2006 as a High School English Teacher at Teach For America, where they worked until 2008. Leanna then moved on to Perspectives Charter Schools, starting as a Middle School English Teacher in 2008 and transitioning to roles such as Humanitities Instructional Leader and VP Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. In 2022, they joined Transcend as a School Design Partner.
Leanna Lantz pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Berea College from 2002 to 2006. Later, in 2019 to 2020, they earned their MA in Public Policy from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago.
Perspectives Charter Schools
Perspectives Charter Schools is a network of five open-enrollment middle and high schools committed to teaching a rigorous college-prep curriculum. They educate the student beyond the classroom to succeed in college and in life while empowering their teachers through a unique education model. They support their teachers with the opportunity to grow through training and professional development to complement their career goals. Their education model has a curriculum that focuses on social-emotional learning, academia, and character building.
