Deanna Marler possesses a diverse background in finance, accounting, and customer service, complemented by a solid educational foundation. Currently serving as a Finance Department Assistant at Perspectives Corporation since January 2014, Deanna previously gained experience as an Accounting Assistant at a Certified Public Accountant from September 2016 to February 2018. Additional roles include Bartender/Hostess at Simpatico Jamestown from June 2015 to July 2017 and Website Content Manager at Hillel from September 2013 to May 2014. Early career development took place at the YMCA of the USA during the summers of 2012 and 2013 as a Camp Counselor. Deanna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Business from the University of Rhode Island, earned between 2012 and 2017.

Perspectives' mission is to help people with disabilities participate in and contribute to community life. We empower individuals to be involved in the management of their own lives, and teach them the skills necessary to attain the dignity that comes with being as fully independent as possible. Our approach is interdisciplinary and individualized. We work with caregivers and family members to develop personalized plans, and then bring together a broad range of professionals to provide needed support. For over 40 years our creativity, flexibility and commitment to those we support and their families has helped hundreds of individuals with disabilities to become independent and fully enjoy their lives, and has made us one of the largest human service agencies in Rhode Island.
