Sekar Soca

Sekar Soca is currently a Social Leader Trainee for the Blue Carbon Initiative at Pertamina Foundation, a position held since June 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Radio Announcer at Sonora FM Yogyakarta, where Sekar hosted multiple radio programs and reported live events from November 2021 to February 2022. As a Partnerships Specialist at the Center for Southeast Asian Social Studies UGM, Sekar developed strategic relationships and conducted research on Southeast Asia issues, including the impact of Covid-19 on gender and women's empowerment. Additional experience includes roles as a Children Book Author at Epigraf and a Reporter at kumparan and KRJogja.com, where Sekar wrote extensively on socio-cultural and business topics. Sekar holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Universitas Gadjah Mada, completed in 2021.
