Jacquie Beaubien

Jacquie Beaubien is currently a consultant at PERTS. Jacquie has also been a consultant at The University of Texas at Austin Population Research Center, Education First, Student Experience Research Network, and Consulting Design and Maintenance Inc. In their role as a consultant, Jacquie provides presentations and workshops on learning mindset research and study results for schools across the United States that participated in the National Study of Learning Mindsets. This study successfully showed that an online program for 9th-grade students could reduce course failure rates by up to 6% among lower-performing students. It was developed by PERTS in collaboration with David Yeager, Carol Dweck, Greg Walton, Angela Duckworth, Valerie Purdie-Vaughns, and Geoff Cohen.

Jacquie Beaubien has a BA in Psychology from Stanford University and an AA in Psychology, Anthropology, Art and Photography from Santa Monica College. Jacquie is currently pursuing a career in Educational Leadership at the University of California, Los Angeles.
