Saloni Shah

Saloni Shah possesses extensive experience in food safety and quality assurance, currently serving as a Quality Assurance professional at Pet Factory, Inc. since October 2021. Previously, Saloni worked as a Food Safety Specialist at ConnectFood, where responsibilities included developing food protection strategies and creating HACCP and food safety plans in compliance with FDA and USDA regulations. Prior experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the FDA involved research on packaging films using polymers and additives, while earlier roles included a Teaching Assistant position at the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Research Assistant role focused on biofilm inhibition of multidrug-resistant bacteria. Saloni holds a Master of Science in Food Safety and Technology from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from Dr. D. Y. Patil Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Institute.
