Philip Young

Philip Young has over 20 years of experience in the field of environment, health, safety, and security. Philip'smost recent role was as the Director of Safety, Security & Compliance at Pet Food Experts. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Environment, Health, Safety, & Security at The Original Bradford Soap Works, Inc. and the Global Manager of Environment, Health, & Safety at Atkore International. Philip has also held various managerial positions in the field, including Corporate Environment, Health, and Safety Manager at AFC Cable Systems, Inc. and Human Resources / Environment, Health, and Safety Manager at Hyman Brickle & Son. Philip started their career as a Corporate Training Specialist at Acushnet Company / Titleist and later worked as a Government Compliance Officer / HR Generalist / EHS Specialist at Sippican, Inc. and a Human Resources Generalist / EHS Specialist at Syscon Corporation. Throughout their career, Philip has focused on ensuring compliance with government regulations and developing and implementing safety and training programs.

Philip Young obtained an Associate of Science (A.A.S.) degree in Occupational Safety & Health from Columbia Southern University in 2019. Philip also pursued General Studies at the University of Rhode Island from 1981 to 1985. In addition to their degrees, Philip obtained certifications such as RABQSA OHSAS 18001 Certified Lead Auditor from IRCA in 2012 and Principles of Safety from the National Safety Council in 2008.
