Christopher Lima has worked in the software engineering field since 2003. Christopher began their career at the Universidade de Coimbra as a Scientific Researcher in 2008. Christopher then joined UFSC in 2005 as a Research and Development Scientist, where they worked on a communication services implementation architecture within a fast packet forwarding technology. In 2003, they worked on a project to define and prototype a communication services implementation architecture within a fast packet forwarding technology. In 2009, they joined Altice Labs as a Research and Development Scientist, where they worked on projects such as FP7 SOCIETIES, FP7 PERSIST, FP7 CaaS, FP7 LeanBigData, and H2020 Sharing Cities. In 2017, they moved to CERN as a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for developing, updating, and maintaining the vacuum software and the supporting IT infrastructure. Christopher is currently employed at Pet Media Group (PMG) as a Software Engineer.
Christopher Lima began their educational journey in 1998 when they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina. In 2005, they earned a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. Christopher then completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Universidade de Aveiro in 2015. Additionally, Christopher Lima has an Intro to Python for Data Science certification from DataCamp.
