Eyass Shakrah

Eyass Shakrah has worked in the investment banking industry since 2010, beginning with Goldman Sachs. In 2012, they founded and became CEO of Avito MENA, an online marketplace for buying and selling used goods, which was acquired by Schibsted/Adevinta. Eyass then joined iMENA Group, a MENA-based venture capital investor, as a member of the Group Management Team. In 2015, they joined Frontier Car Group as COO and a member of the founding team. The company was acquired by OLX/Naspers for $1 billion in 2017. In 2018, they co-founded Pet Media Group, an operator and investor into some of the world's largest online pet marketplaces.

Eyass Shakrah attended the Stockholm School of Economics, where they studied Finance and Marketing.
