Nuno Pássaro

Nuno Pássaro has over 13 years of professional experience in the tech industry. In 2009, they began working at PT Inovação as a Software Engineer/Quality Assurance Engineer, Project Manager/Quality Assurance Engineer, and Software Engineer/Researcher. During this time, they also worked as a Researcher and Software Developer at Carnegie Mellon University/University of Coimbra, where they earned a Master of Software Engineering. In 2007, they joined INESC Porto as a Junior Researcher. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Shift-it, Deltaworx, and Bosch Termotecnologia SA as a Full Stack Engineer and Senior Full Stack Engineer, respectively. In 2016, they joined Fiercely as a Senior Software Engineer and in 2020 they began working at 25Friday as an Engineering Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer. Currently, they are the Head of DevOps at Pet Media Group (PMG).

Nuno Pássaro completed a Graduate degree in Telecomunications, Optical Fiber, RF and Microwave from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto between 2001 and 2006. Nuno then went on to pursue a Master degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the same institution from 2009 to 2010. Nuno also obtained a Master degree in Software Engineering from Universidade de Coimbra and Carnegie Mellon University between 2010 and 2011.
