Fernando Acosta-Rua

Fernando Acosta-Rua is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the pet care and private equity sectors. As President and Chief Executive Officer of Pet Paradise since April 2007, Fernando has driven significant growth, expanding the company from 3 locations and 35 employees to 60 resorts and 2,000 employees. Prior to this role, Fernando served as a Partner at L&L Capital Partners, focusing on middle market and growth companies, and as Vice President at Fondelec Group, specializing in investment and advisory in the energy, communications, and technology sectors. Fernando holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida's School of Journalism.
