Juan Ocharan

Juan Ocharan, PMP has over 20 years of experience in program management and project consultation. Juan is currently serving as the Director of the Program Management Office at Pet Paradise Resort. Prior to this, they worked as a Professional Services Partner Practice Manager at UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) for two years.

Juan has also held several roles at Acosta, Diebold Nixdorf, and CIT. At Acosta, they worked as an Enterprise Transformation Program Management Consultant, responsible for providing international portfolio, program, and project management consulting services. At Diebold Nixdorf, they served as a Global Program Management Professional, providing similar consulting services for the NetSuite team.

During their time at CIT, Juan held two positions. First, they worked as a Vice President of the Program Management Office, where they provided portfolio, program, and project management services, specifically focusing on SDLC and PMO office processes. Juan later transitioned to an Enterprise Program Management Consultant role, where they continued to provide consulting services and managed a cross-functional operations team.

Prior to these roles, Juan worked at McKesson as an IT BRM and JDE 9.1 SCRUM Team member, and at PSS World Medical, Inc (PSSI) as an IT Business Relationship Manager and Program Manager for various projects.

Before their experience at McKesson and PSS World Medical, Inc, Juan worked as an IT Management Consultant at Cielo Consulting Group, specializing in ERP implementation and system integration for Fortune 500 companies.

Throughout their career, Juan has demonstrated expertise in project management, team leadership, and communication, consistently driving efficient execution and delivering successful results.

Juan Ocharan, PMP, has a solid education history with a focus on business administration and project management. Juan obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of North Florida in 2024. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from the same university in 2023.

In addition to their university education, Juan also attended Old Dominion University from 1996 to 1997, and the New Jersey Institute of Technology from 1986 to 1990. The specific degrees or fields of study for these periods are not provided.

Juan holds several certifications that further enhance their expertise in project management. Juan became a Certified SCRUM Product Owner through the Scrum Alliance in April 2014. Before that, in July 2013, they obtained the designation of Certified SCRUM Master from the same institution. Additionally, they earned the prestigious PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from the Project Management Institute in March 2013.
