Catherine Peters

Catherine "Annie" Peters is an accomplished nonprofit executive with extensive experience in leadership positions across various organizations. Currently serving as President & CEO of Pet Partners since 2014 and as Chief Executive Officer of AAAIP, Peters has demonstrated a strong capacity for transformational leadership, operational infrastructure development, and fundraising strategy execution. Previous roles include Vice President of Personal Giving & Special Events at Special Olympics International, Executive Director of the Science Museum of Virginia Foundation, and President of the Virginia Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation, where recognition as President of the Year was awarded in 2007. Peters also served as Regional Director for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, providing essential leadership for growth and infrastructure development. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Bucknell University and further education at The George Washington University.
