Steve King

Steve King is the current Director at Pet Partners. Prior to this, they worked as the Associate Director, Customized Programs, Center for Global Education and Experience at Augsburg College from July 2008 to May 2016. In this role, they managed a team of four responsible for the development of 75+ customized education abroad programs that served over 1,000 students each year from approximately 50 partner institutions.

Before their time at Augsburg College, Steve King was the International Program Manager at Bard College from July 2006 to January 2008. Steve was also an Instructor of African Studies at Flathead Valley Community College from February 2008 to April 2008. From July 2003 to July 2005, they served as the Service Learning Assistant through AmeriCorps*VISTA at Flathead Valley Community College.

Steve King has a Master of Arts in International Education from the School for International Training, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Creighton University, and has studied abroad at Beijing Institute of Technology and Vilniaus universitetas / Vilnius University. Steve graduated from Cretin-Derham Hall High School.
