Meghann Evans

Meghann Evans has over a decade of experience in journalism and communications, currently serving as the Education and Outreach Manager at Pet Sitters International since June 2016. Previously, Meghann held the role of Marketing and Communications Coordinator within the same organization. Earlier career highlights include work as a Staff Reporter for the Winston-Salem Journal, covering county government and local elections, and a similar role at The Mount Airy News. As Managing Editor at The Stokes News, Meghann oversaw content planning and editing, managed the newspaper's website and social media, and guided a team of reporters. Meghann began the career with a stint as an Income Worker at the Stokes County Department of Social Services and contributed freelance writing for various publications. Meghann holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Salem College.
