Grace Waka

Grace Waka has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the field of software development. Grace is currently working as a Back End Developer at Petal, starting in November 2021. Prior to this, Grace worked at CGI from March 2020 to November 2021 as a Web Developer. Grace also has experience as a Software Developer at Azion Technologies from July 2016 to February 2020, where they were involved in the development and maintenance of software systems, Restful APIs, and micro-services. Before that, Grace worked at E-AWARE Technologies as a Back End Developer, where they developed the back end of a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) for an Internet of Things (IoT) application. Grace also had internships as a Programmer at OpServices TI and CNM - Confederação Nacional de Municípios, where they gained experience in developing custom scripts and fixing bugs in software development projects, respectively. Grace has a strong technical skill set, including expertise in Python, Django, Git, MySQL, and Docker, among others.

Grace Waka obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul from 2010 to 2015. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the DevOps Essentials Professional Certificate (DEPC) from CertiProf® in January 2019 and obtained the Celpe-Bras certification from the Ministry of Education of Brazil in November 2008.
