Teagan Thompson has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries. They began their career as a Booking & Promotions Manager for Valhalla Promotions, where they handled booking and promotions for a local band. They then worked as a Journalist Intern for Flo 'N The Go Newsletter, where they investigated, promoted, and attended various events and wrote articles about them.
Teagan went on to work as a Peer Mentor Intern at San Francisco State University International Programs Office, where they publicized and advocated for study and work abroad programs. They also assisted students throughout the application process and evaluated their applications.
Teagan then gained experience in the nonprofit sector as a Sustainability Intern at Global Footprint Network. Here, they took on multiple roles, including a Database Intern, External Affairs & Fundraising Intern, and Communications Intern. They performed tasks such as database management, researching and applying for grants, and writing website content.
From 2011 to 2019, Teagan worked at Anchor Brewing Company as a Marketing Communications & Events Manager. In this role, they created and deployed marketing campaigns, coordinated with sales teams and retailers, and implemented sustainability initiatives. They also played a key role in developing the brewery's digital marketing strategy and social media advertising campaigns.
During their time at The Do LaB from 2013 to 2015, Teagan served as the Lightning Team Bar Manager, overseeing bar operations for events.
Teagan then joined Space Coyote in 2019 as the Director of Marketing, where they were responsible for co-creating the brand identity, developing product strategies, and expanding sales and marketing efforts. They successfully increased the number of cannabis retailers selling Space Coyote from 10 to over 300.
In 2020, Teagan worked as a Senior Marketing Consultant for Sweet Releaf, before joining Petalfast in 2021. They first served as the Director of Field + Trade Marketing before being promoted to the role of VP of Field + Trade Marketing.

Teagan Thompson has a diverse education history. In 2004, they graduated from Petaluma High School with a High School Diploma. Following that, from 2008 to 2012, they attended San Francisco State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations. During their time at SF State, they also spent a year studying abroad at CSU Firenze, focusing on International Relations and Italian. In 2018, Teagan attended General Assembly and completed a Certificate program in Digital Marketing. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Certified Beer Server from the Cicerone Certification Program in July 2012, Notary Public from the California Secretary of State in October 2012, and ServSafe Alcohol from the National Restaurant Association in July 2013.
