Shannon Cronin is an experienced Chief Technology Officer with a strong background in web development and software engineering. Shannon currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at Petco Love since 2022. Before that, they served as the Chief Technology Officer of Adopt-a-Pet.com at Kinship from 2021 to 2022. Shannon also has a significant tenure at Adopt-a-Pet.com, where they worked as the Chief Technology Officer from 2018 to 2021 and previously as a Full Stack Developer from 2015 to 2018. Prior to their role at Adopt-a-Pet.com, they worked as a Senior Full Stack Developer at the University of California, Riverside from 2014 to 2015. Shannon's earlier experience includes a role as a Senior Software Engineer at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center from 2011 to 2014 and a Senior Web Programmer at SoCalGas from 2010 to 2011. Shannon began their career as a Programmer II (Full Stack Web Developer) at the California Air Resources Board, where they worked from 1998 to 2010.
Shannon Cronin completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Redlands between 2019 and 2020. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's (BA) degree in Business Management from the same university from 2012 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Shannon Cronin has also acquired the certification of AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2020.
