The company was formed in 1995 by Peter Deer & Michael Humphries, who have created a platform where quality engineering can be applied across the field of construction. Engineering based upon a wide foundation of design excellence and an informed use of technology and performance. Both directors have worked together from 1986 coming from James R. Briggs & Associates and the international consultancy of Carl Bro Group with a UK staff of over 700 engineers. Learning from the experience of working for smaller companies, Peter Deer & Associates was formed with the idea of taking the best from both sizes of organisation.
