Johann Diercks

Johann Diercks is a highly experienced maritime professional with a career spanning multiple roles in shipmanagement and dry cargo brokering. Since March 2014, Diercks has held various positions at Peter Döhle Schiffahrts-KG, including Managing Director, Director Shipmanagement, Assistant to the Board of Directors, and Head of Dry Bulk Chartering. Diercks also serves as a Director for The International Maritime Employers' Council Ltd (IMEC) from May 2023 to May 2025. Prior experience includes a role as a Dry Cargo Broker at Howe Robinson Partners, specializing in handysize dry cargo, and an apprenticeship at Peter Döhle Schiffahrts-KG. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science with Distinction in Shipping, Trade & Finance from Cass Business School and a qualification as Schifffahrtskaufmann from the Hamburg School of Shipping and Transportation.
