Melissa Barber

Melissa Barber is a clinical research program officer at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre since November 2019, ensuring the efficient management of clinical research projects, grant proposals, and financial reporting. Previously, Melissa served as the national project coordinator at Monash University for the IRONMAN registry project and held the position of ethics manager for the ASPREE clinical trial, one of Australia's largest studies. Additional experience includes roles as biobank and health data integration manager at Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute and research fellow at Cabrini HEALTH. Melissa began their academic journey with a PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Monash University and holds two degrees in Pharmacology and Physiology from the same institution.
