Sarah Hornby

Sarah Hornby is an accomplished professional in the field of philanthropy, currently serving as the Head of Philanthropy at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre since September 2022. Previously, Sarah held the position of Head of Philanthropy at ygap, an organization focused on supporting social impact ventures. From June 2007 to July 2021, Sarah served in various roles at Opportunity International Australia, including State Manager VIC/TAS, where responsibilities included providing microfinance solutions to impoverished communities. Initial career experience includes working as a Communications Assistant at Light FM. Sarah holds a Graduate Diploma in International Development from RMIT University, a Bachelor in Communications from Monash University, and a Diploma in Professional Writing & Editing from TAFE NSW.
