Vikas Wadhwa

Vikas Wadhwa currently serves as the Medical Director of Ambulatory Services at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, where Vikas has established a successful research program that has garnered increased funding and recognition in innovative cancer care. Concurrently, Vikas holds academic positions as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne, an Adjunct Associate Professor at Monash University, and a Conjoint Clinical Associate Professor at Deakin University. Vikas has extensive experience in various roles, including consultant physician positions at Goulburn Valley Health and Eastern Health, where significant improvements in healthcare processes and workforce practices were implemented. As a Visiting Lead Accreditation Consultant for the Joint Advisory in Japan, Vikas assesses hospital accreditation readiness. With a robust educational background, including a Ph.D. at the University of Melbourne and multiple degrees in clinical and public health, Vikas is well-regarded in the fields of respiratory, sleep, and general medicine.
