Alex Biederer

Senior Fullstack Engineer at Peter Park

Alex Biederer has a diverse and extensive work experience. Alex started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Technische Universität München, where they taught Software Engineering to over 100 undergraduate students and received positive feedback. Alex then worked as a Software Engineer at the same institution, focusing on developing ground station communication software for the MOVE-II satellite.

Afterward, Alex joined TUM: Junge Akademie, where they served as an Organizer, Moderator, and Project Lead. In these roles, they organized and moderated a lecture series on the German refugee crisis and conducted research on democratic structures in refugee shelters, including planning and organizing workshops for refugees.

Alex later interned as a Test Engineering Intern at BMW of North America, LLC. Subsequently, Alex joined BMW Group as an Information Technology Trainee, where they gained experience in frontend development and co-development of a simulation environment.

Alex also worked for mc³ media competence AG as a Software Engineer and Customer Support Manager. In this role, they provided customer support for internet and TV services for international hotels, programming web-based applications, and installing hardware in hotels.

Alex returned to BMW Group as a Master Thesis Project participant, where they conducted research on a specific topic. Alex then continued working for BMW Group as a Software Engineer, focusing on operations management and software development, including taking on the role of Product Owner for a virtual car Head Unit connected to the BMW Connected Drive Backend Services.

Most recently, Alex joined KADiCon UG as a Founder and CTO, showcasing their entrepreneurial skills. Currently, Alex is employed as a Senior Fullstack Engineer at Peter Park, utilizing their expertise in full-stack development.

Alex Biederer completed a Master of Science in Software Engineering from the Technical University of Munich from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Informatik: Games Engineering from the same university, from 2014 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, Alex also completed various soft skill workshops and trainings, including Change Processes in Different Work Environments, Intercultural Communication, Moderation Technique, Leadership Skills, Presentation Techniques, Professional Writing, and Team Success. They also underwent a Presentation Training.
