Polina Gorkh has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Polina is currently working as a Back End Developer at Peter Park since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Consultant at TNG Technology Consulting from November 2019 to May 2023. Polina also served as a PHD Candidate at Technical University Munich, where they conducted research on simulating turbulent cavitating flows and developed an in-house code using FORTRAN. Polina improved implicit LES methodology and introduced adaptive thermodynamic tables for efficient full-thermodynamic simulations. Additionally, they predicted cavitation in different nozzles and created post-processing tools. Polina has also worked as a Project Development Manager at Innova Systems, where they supervised user account security and organized events to acquire and retain clients. Previously, they worked as an Engineer Mathematician at Indusoft, Ltd., where they conducted research on data reconciliation and gross error detection problems using MATLAB. Polina compared error search efficiency using different optimization methods.

Polina Gorkh has an extensive education history. Polina started by earning a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) from 2008 to 2012. Polina then pursued a Master's degree in the same field and institution, completing it from 2012 to 2014.

Polina's passion for education led their to enroll in the Technical University of Munich. Polina obtained a Master's degree in Computational Science and Engineering from 2014 to 2017. Following that, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Aerodynamics and Fluid Mechanics from 2015 to 2019, furthering their expertise in the field.

In addition to their educational achievements, Polina Gorkh obtained a certification as a Certified SAFe® 4 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. in December 2020, showcasing their commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
