Paul Stainton

Paul Stainton is an experienced professional in marketing, communications, and media, currently serving as the Director of Marketing & Communications at Peterborough Cathedral since July 2023. In this role, Paul is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for the Cathedral's financial sustainability and enhancing its profile as a center of worship and visitor destination. Previously, Paul held leadership roles at PS Media Ltd, providing media consultancy and stakeholder management, and worked as a self-employed broadcaster, lecturer, and in various capacities at BBC Radio and Television. Paul’s extensive background includes managing teams, producing content for major sports events, and teaching journalism and media courses.
