Louise Martin

Louise Martin has a diverse background in education and fitness, currently serving as an Aquafit and Yoga Instructor for the Municipality of Clarington since October 2021 and a Yoga Instructor at Durham Ultimate Fitness since September 2018. Louise also contributes as a College Instructor at Durham College Career Development since February 2019 and has extensive experience as a Special Education Teacher with the Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington area since September 1991, focusing on Empower Reading and assistive technology. Previous roles include teaching Power Yoga at Lotus Yoga Studio and serving as a French Teacher with the Metro Separate School Board. Louise holds a Bachelor of Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto and an Honours BA in Creative Writing from York University.
