Thomas Matthews, P.Eng, CFA has extensive work experience in various roles within the financial and engineering sectors. Thomas began their career in 2007 as a Process Engineer at CH2M HILL and worked there until 2011. Thomas then joined AltaCorp Capital Inc. as a Research Associate in Institutional Equity, where they remained until 2013. Following this, they worked at TD Securities Inc. as a Research Associate in Institutional Equities from 2013 to 2014. Thomas then returned to AltaCorp Capital Inc. as an Analyst in Institutional Equity Research and subsequently became a Managing Director in Institutional Equity Research. In 2019, Thomas joined Yangarra Resources Ltd. as a Senior Engineer and was later promoted to Manager of Engineering in 2021. Currently, they are working at Peters & Co. Limited as an Institutional Sales professional and has recently been promoted to the role of Principal in Institutional Sales. Overall, Thomas has gained significant expertise in engineering and financial analysis throughout their career.

Thomas Matthews, P.Eng, CFA completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Calgary from the year 2000 until 2005. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, which they attained from 2005 to 2007.
