Christopher Glanton

Christopher Glanton is the current Chief Medical Officer at Peterson Health. Christopher was previously a nephrologist at the San Antonio Kidney Disease Center Physician's Group from July 2006 to January 2022, where they served on the Executive Committee from 2009 to 2012 and was Immediate past-president from 2012 to 2015. Christopher was also the Medical Director at Davita Boerne from 2008 to present and at Davita Kerrville from 2012 to present. Prior to their work in private practice, Christopher Glanton served in the United States Air Force from July 2002 to June 2006 as a Clinical Nephrologist and Flight Commander.

Christopher Glanton attended The University of Texas at Austin, where they studied biology and premed. Christopher then attended The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, where they received their Doctor of Medicine (MD). Christopher completed their internship and residency at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in the Internal Medicine Residency Program. Christopher also completed a fellowship in nephrology at Walter Reed US Army Medical Center.

They work with Lisa Medovich - CFO, Joe Piszczor - COO, and Brian Robicheaux - CIO. Their manager is Cory Edmondson, President & CEO. and Tim Rye - VP, Medical Group Practices reports to Christopher Glanton.
