Gretchen Crist

Gretchen Crist has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Gretchen is currently the Chief People and Culture Officer at PetHonesty, where they advise the CEO and senior management team on talent acquisition strategies, training and development, human capital planning, and culture building.

Prior to this, Gretchen served on the Board of Directors at Hostess Brands in 2018. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as the Managing Director of the Consumer Goods and Services Practice at RSR Partners, where they specialized in recruiting, selection, and succession needs for Boards and CEOs.

From 2017 to 2019, they held the role of Senior Vice President of Human Resources - North America at Henkel Corporation, responsible for all HR functions including charitable contributions. Before that, they served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at The Sun Products Corporation, where they established the HR department as a strategic business asset.

Gretchen also held leadership positions at organizations such as Make-A-Wish Connecticut, Energizer Holdings (Playtex Products), Enron, Playtex Products, and Altria. In these roles, they demonstrated expertise in HR management, talent strategies, and organizational development.

Gretchen Crist pursued their higher education starting from 1988 to 1991 at Mercy College, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Following this, they continued their studies at Long Island University from 1992 to 1995, earning a Master's degree in Human Resources Administration, specializing in the field of study relevant to their professional interests.
