Tianyu Xiao

Tianyu Xiao has been working in the design industry since 2011. Tianyu started as an Industrial Design Intern at Designit, where they developed products ranging from sport equipments to medical devices. In 2012, they were an Industrial Design Trainee at Zenit Design Group, where they participated in projects during product development. From 2013-2018, they worked as the Director of Industrial Design at ND Industrial Design CO., LTD, where they led the team for all design projects and organized regular internal training and/or experience-sharing workshops. In 2018, they became the Senior Design Director at Sunvalleytek International Inc., and in 2020 they were appointed Chief Design Officer & Co-Founder at DesignLibro Inc.

Tianyu Xiao obtained an MFA from the University of Gothenburg in 2012, specializing in Industrial/Product Design. Prior to this, they obtained a BA from the China Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2010, also specializing in Industrial Design.
