Dave Lowery

Dave joins PetMedix bringing 34 years of experience in the Animal Health industry. Read more in the press release. Prior to PetMedix, he has worked for The Upjohn Company, Pharmacia, Pfizer, Novartis, and Boehringer Ingelheim, all in their Animal Health divisions.

During his career, he has directed R&D groups on a wide variety of Animal Health projects, including vaccines, pharmaceuticals, parasiticides, and biopharmaceuticals, for both livestock and companion animals. As such, he is familiar with Animal Health markets and the various regulatory environments that govern the industry. He has also worked extensively on leveraging human health molecules, and technologies, for animal health applications and has had visibility to the workings of human health R&D in the pharmaceutical industry. He has worked on bringing monoclonal antibody technology to the veterinary field for 13+ years. Dave is trained as a biochemist/molecular biologist.

As CPDO of PetMedix, Dave is responsible for directing the development of molecules generated by the PetMedix discovery pipeline into marketed products. He manages a wide variety of internal and external resources to accomplish this goal.
