Yoko Shibata

Yoko Shibata has a diverse work experience in the scientific research field. Yoko currently holds the role of Principal Scientist and Preclinical Development material team leader at PetMedix since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Scientist and Biological Safety Officer at PetMedix from May 2020 to November 2022. Before joining PetMedix, Yoko Shibata served as a Senior Scientist and Biological Safety Officer at the Cancer Research UK (CRUK-Medimmune Alliance Laboratory) from September 2015 to May 2020. Yoko also worked as a Scientist at MedImmune from May 2010 to August 2015. Yoko Shibata began their career as a Postdoctoral researcher at the Medical Research Council from 2003 to 2010 and later as a Postdoctoral researcher at UCSF from 1998 to 2002.

Yoko Shibata holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley. Yoko also obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of California, San Francisco.
