Michelle Yates

Michelle Yates has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Michelle worked at PetPartners, Inc. as the Executive Vice President of Business Development starting in 2021. Before that, they worked at Nationwide Insurance from 2010 to 2021, holding various roles including Director of Relationship Management, National Business Development Sales Manager, and Group Accounts Sales Manager. During their time at Nationwide Insurance, they achieved significant growth in new accounts and formed strategic partnerships. Prior to Nationwide, Michelle worked at VPI from 2002 to 2010 as an Executive Administrative Assistant, Inside Sales Manager, and Inside Sales Agent.

Michelle Yates attended Brea Olinda High School in Brea, California from 1992 to 1995. Michelle then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology from California State University, Fullerton, graduating in the year 2000. In terms of additional certifications, Michelle obtained a Property and Casualty Licensed Agent certification from the Department of Insurance in January 2004. Michelle also completed several professional training programs, including the Questions That Sell Training from the Performance Based Results Organization in February 2010, the SPIN Selling Workshop from the George Washington University School of Business and Public Management in August 2010, the Negotiation Training from the Latz Institution in Scottsdale, Arizona in February 2013, and the Leadership Matters program from Nationwide Insurance in March 2014.
