Sean joined Petra in 2020 and is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, executing transactions and portfolio monitoring.
Prior to joining Petra, Sean was a Senior Investment Associate at Ascension Ventures in St. Louis, Missouri. While at Ascension Ventures, Sean evaluated investment opportunities and supported portfolio companies across the Healthcare IT, Healthcare Services, and Medical Device verticals.
Before joining Ascension Ventures, Sean worked in Canaccord Genuity’s healthcare investment banking group where he focused on M&A transactions within the Healthcare IT and Healthcare Services space. Sean began his career as an investment analyst at Strategic Investment Group, an institutional asset management firm where he focused on alternative investments and macroeconomic research.
Sean graduated from Vanderbilt University receiving a BS with a double major in Economics and Human and Organizational Development.
