Charlie Chipchase

Charlie Chipchase has extensive work experience in the legal and financial sectors. Charlie started their career as an Associate at Herbert Smith Freehills in 1998 and worked there until 2007. Charlie then joined White & Case as a Senior Associate from 2007 to 2011. After that, they worked as a Managing Associate at Vinson & Elkins from 2011 to 2013. From 2014 to 2022, Charlie worked at Riverstone Holdings, where they held the position of EMEA General Counsel and Head of ESG. In this role, they developed and implemented legal compliance programs and managed risk for the private equity firm. In 2022, they joined Petra Funds Group as the Managing Director and Head of Europe, where they oversee fund administration and related services for global private equity, venture capital, and private debt funds.

Charlie Chipchase has a Diploma of Legal Practice in Law from the College of Law, Guildford, which they obtained from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed an MA (Honours) in History from The University of Edinburgh, from 1992 to 1996. Charlie also holds an additional certification as an English Solicitor from The Law Society, obtained in the year 2000.
