Alexandre Maul

Alexandre Maul is a geoscientist with a DSc in Geology and Geophysics, currently serving as a Senior Advisor and Reservoir Geophysicist at Petrobras. They have extensive experience in seismic reservoir characterization, velocity modeling, and project evaluation, having held various technical consulting roles at Petrobras over the years. Alexandre has also contributed to academia as a co-advisor for master’s and doctoral dissertations at several universities, including Universidade Federal Fluminense and Universidade de São Paulo. Their previous roles include coordinating environmental geology projects at AECOM and serving as editor and committee member for the Brazilian Journal of Geophysics. With a solid foundation in both industry and academia, Alexandre’s expertise encompasses a wide range of geoscientific fields.
