Daniel Ferreira Silva

Daniel Ferreira Silva is an experienced engineer specializing in mechanical engineering and asset management. Currently serving as an Equipment Engineer at Petrobras since February 2018, Daniel works on commissioning and maintenance activities for the P77 platform in the Búzios field. Previously, Daniel held the position of Asset Management Engineer at AngloGold Ashanti from 2011 to 2018, where responsibilities included implementing an asset management system based on ISO 55001 to enhance productivity and cost management in mining operations. Daniel's early career includes roles as a Product Engineer Analyst at Fiat Auto, focusing on cooling system development, and as an intern at Kotchergenko Engenharia, where Daniel conducted structural calculations for mining equipment. Daniel holds multiple degrees including a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and a Postgraduate MBA in Asset Management from Fundação Gorceix (UFOP).
