Graça Foster

Graça Foster is an engineer and lawyer who currently serves as a senior consultant at Propria, focusing on oil, gas and energy. They have held several leadership roles in the energy sector, including President of Gaspetro (2012–2015) and Director of Gas and Energy at Petrobras (2007–2012), as well as Director of the International Area and CEO at Petrobras, and CEO of Petroquisa (Petrobras Química) (2005–2006). They also served as National Secretary of Oil, Gas and Biofuels at the Ministry of Mines and Energy (2003–2005) and as Director of Finance at BR Distribuidora (2006–2007). Their education includes a MBA Executivo (1999–2001) and an LLM in Infraestrutura e Regulação (2021–2023) from Fundação Getulio Vargas, a Master of Engineering in Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer from UFRJ (1981–1983), and a Chemical Engineering degree from Universidade Federal Fluminense (1973–1979); they are pursuing an MBA in Transição Energética at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (2023–Present).
