Ismael Santos

Ismael Santos is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software architecture and computer science research, particularly within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Senior Software Architect and Computer Science Researcher at Petrobras since March 1987, Ismael specializes in developing real-time visualization applications for massive engineering simulations and has previously contributed to seismic processing through neural network applications. Additional experience includes positions at Computer Modelling Group Ltd. as a Computer Scientist Developer and at Fraunhofer IMK as a Virtual Reality Guest Researcher. Ismael's educational background comprises a Post-doctorate visiting scholarship from Stanford University, a Doctorate in Computer Science from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, and a Master's in Applied Mathematics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
