Joao Paulo Druzina Massignan

Joao Paulo Druzina Massignan is a highly experienced Lead Automation & Instrumentation Engineer at Petrobras since April 2008, specializing in projects related to pipeline automation, sour water treatment, and flue gas treatment for the Abreu e Lima Refinery (RNEST). Notable projects include the automation of the crude oil supply pipeline, sour water treatment units, and SNOX flue gas treatment. Joao Paulo has participated in HAZOP studies and played a key role in all phases of the refinery power plant project. Prior to Petrobras, Joao Paulo gained experience through internships at UTFPR and Perkons SA and as a freelance electrical designer. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and ongoing studies in Data Science at Centro de Informática UFPE.
