Marcio Almeida Mendes has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly with Petrobras since September 2002, where roles include Operations Manager for multiple semi-submersible production platforms and Maintenance Manager overseeing teams responsible for equipment maintenance across various platforms. Marcio also served as Construction & Installation Coordinator and Maintenance and Inspection Coordinator, focusing on compliance with regulatory standards and the application of new technologies. Prior experience at COPEL involved managing electricity distribution maintenance data. Marcio holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Itajubá and a postgraduate degree in Engineering of Electrical Energy Distribution from USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
