Mike Ornellas has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries.

Mike currently serves as the Director, Strategic IT at PetroCard, Inc. since January 2023.

Previously, they worked at Seattle Children's hospital where they held various positions. As the IT Service Management / Operations Manager from January 2020 to August 2022, they focused on growing the IT Service Management practice and developing the IT core operations strategy. Mike successfully collaborated with different teams to update the change management process, resulting in a high change success rate. Prior to that, they served as a Senior IT Program Manager and was responsible for delivering IT performance dashboards and reports. Before joining Seattle Children's, Mike Ornellas worked at the US Army Health Center as the Chief of Information Management. Mike also coordinated with staff and vendors across multiple locations to ensure high-quality healthcare and regulatory compliance. Mike established a critical components working group, resulting in a seamless transition to a new health center with uninterrupted functionality.
